Apply For Membership

Application/Nomination Form

To become a member of the Brighton Bowls & Community Club please contact the club for a membership form (forms will be available online very soon)

In order to complete the form you’ll need two existing Club members to act as nominee and seconder by endorsing your application, to do this you’ll need to meet them. The best way to meet existing members is to drop into the club and simply ‘hang out’ with us, share a beverage and engage in some chat.

We also have a number of social events and functions which can be a great way to meet new people while enjoying the sport of bowls. Our “Upcoming Events” page will have more information about what’s coming up and is updated regularly. Pop over and check it out!

At Brighton Bowls & Community Club there are three types of membership – Social, Full, and Junior.

Social

Not sure if you want to play bowls in the Saturday / midweek competitions? Sign up for social membership which provides many Club benefits but does not afford voting or bowling rights. If at a later stage you wish to become a ‘full member’ then talk to the Club Secretary who will advise the cost/procedure to facilitate an upgrade.

Full

Want to play competition bowls on a Saturday, Thursday(Ladies) and  midweek and take part in the club championship matches? Have a vote at AGM’s and Special Meetings? Then the Full membership is the one for you.

Juniors

Junior membership allows full playing rights for members under 15 years of age.  Please be aware that juniors do not have voting rights.

Benefits

If you would like to know more about our Club, feel free to ask for one of our ‘officials’ to contact you. Then if you’re interested in joining  download the membership form and pop down to the Club at anytime or on one of our event days, we’d love to meet you.
