Tayla Munro takes out BTS Champion of Champions Open Singles

The Brighton Bowls Club continues to shine with our very own Tayla Munro taking out the BTS Champion of Champions Open singles title tonight. Tayla was unstoppable in her match and after only losing two ends dominated the game by winning 21-4. Tayla bowled magnificently and never looked in doubt as she took home her second Champion of Champions Open singles title.

Tayla will now play the State Champions of Champions on the 4th May at the Claremont bowls club and we encourage you all to come along and support her on the day!

In a close contest Baden Williams showed the younger competitors just how it’s done as he began well in his BTS Champion of Champions men’s B Grade semi final. The game had everyone on the edge of their seats with impressive shots by both players making it anyone’s game. In the end Baden was narrowly nudged out with the final score 21-18 giving Baden an impressive 3rd place overall.

Congratulations once again Tayla and Baden on an outstanding end to the season, it was a great night of bowls.
